Site Intro
We created this website mainly to share information and photos with our family and friends, but anyone is welcome to browse the public areas of our site.
About us:
Robine is an Information Management Professional. Interests include:
- reading novels;
- creative cooking;
- silk flower arrangements;
- model ship building - see Model Ship Hobby page.
Jim is a retired IT Professional. Interests include:
- digital photography - see International Travel Galleries and General & Family Galleries;
- creating and managing websites for: the Canberra Model Shipwrights Society and the Ship Modelling Society of Victoria
- reading and researching maritime history - see HMAS Tingira Research page;
- model ship building - see Model Ship Hobby page.
Technical Stuff:
We only support and test the site with the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari using a display resolution of 1280x1024 or better.
The information and photos on this are all published with XHTML and an associated Cascading Style Sheet (CSS). There are also links to PDF documents - an Acrobat Reader plugin is required to access these. Most pages have been checked for conformance with W3C standards
